In the heart of Sarba, Lebanon, Charbel Fares was born in 1952. As he grew up, he discovered his passion for art and started creating masterpieces that reflected his soul. Charbel's works are not just sculptures or paintings; they are an expression of his innermost being. He has a unique way of capturing the essence of life and presenting it in a way that leaves a lasting impression on the viewer.
Charbel's art has been displayed in over 20 solo and group exhibitions, both in Lebanon and abroad. His sculptures, made of ice, marble, and stone, are a testament to his creativity and dedication to his craft. In 1998-1999, he represented Lebanon in international workshops in Canada, showcasing his exquisite ice sculptures. Over the years, Charbel's work has received numerous accolades, including the honor of being recognized by the Lebanese Parliament in 1991 and the Cultural Council in 2015. In 2018, he was named a symbol of The Cedar Land, a testament to his contribution to Lebanese art. The following year, the Ministry of Culture awarded him the Gold Jubilee, a well-deserved recognition of his talent and artistic vision.
